Meditation

Meditation has always been a vital practice in the word of God, deeply woven into the spiritual lives of believers throughout biblical history.  In the bible, the term "meditate" is used explicitly, but the concept echoes through out scripture in ways that encourage thoughtful contemplation, prayer, and trust in the Lord.

In focusing on God’s presence and character. "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer" (Psalm 19:14).

Ultimately, biblical meditation is an act of drawing near to God, allowing his word and presence to shape our hearts, minds, and actions. This timeless practice remains as relevant today as it was in the days of Joshua and David, offering us a pathway to spiritual growth and peace in the midst of a busy, distracted world.
